Why use this system? Pools are usually loaded with residual electrical current. This phenomenon is amplified when a salt water chlorinator is used. - If the pool is not earthed, the difference in potential between the pool and surroundingearthmaycausedamage (fasterwearof bearingsandpumpmechanism lining due to the passing current). - With a stainless steel plug, this current is evacuated towards the motor casing without touching the rotor shaft or bearings.

The standard versions of our pumps run at 50Hz. The majority of our pumps are available in 60Hz format, subject to a 10% surcharge on the advertised price. Please consult us for more details.
